Admin panel and content tools
Keep your website fresh without waiting on anyone
Free, no obligation, and a written quote before any work starts.
Where your time comes back
- Your website keeps getting new pages without you writing them from a blank screen
- Nothing goes live until you have read it and said yes
- You can see which pages bring in work, so the next page is aimed at more of it
Every business is different. The free consultation is where I work out with you what it means for yours.
What changes
What it gets your business
Most small business websites go stale because every change means ringing somebody. The admin panel is a private page on your own website, behind a password only you have, that takes the regular jobs off that list. It drafts new blog posts, town pages and service pages for you to read, change and approve before anything goes live, and it checks each draft against the facts about your business so nothing invented gets published. It shows where your calls and enquiries come from, and it gathers your reviews from Google, Trusted Trader and Facebook onto one page, each linked back to the original. The first one was built for George Herkes & Son Joinery, a family firm of joiners in Tranent, East Lothian. It is an add-on to a website I build or look after, and the parts are switched on as you need them. The unwelcome part: if you never want to touch your own website, this is a page you will not open.

A wrong claim about your business is caught before a customer, or Google, ever reads it.

You can see which pages bring in calls, and put the next effort where the work is.

What it costs
Quoted after the free consultation, as an add-on to your website, with only the parts you want and any running costs stated up front.

The process
Four steps, and the first one is free
You can stop after the first without owing anything.
A free consultation
I find the pain points: what is costing you time, what you wish worked better, and how the job actually gets done today. Face to face anywhere in Edinburgh and the Lothians, or on Zoom or the phone from anywhere in the UK or worldwide.
A written quote
A fixed price, a list of what is included and a date, in writing, before anything starts. No day rates that quietly stretch, and no bill you first see when it lands.
Built and launched
Design, build and testing, and you see it take shape as it goes. Your web address, hosting (where your site lives), security certificate and email are all set up for you, so there is nothing for you to buy or set up.
Looked after
Hosting, security updates, backups, changes to your words and photos, and a local number to ring. Anything bigger is quoted before it starts, so the running cost stays the number you agreed.
Questions
Questions owners ask
When not to buy this
- You never want to look at your own website, and are happy for it to stay as it is.
- You already add pages yourself and know where your enquiries come from.
- Your business gets all the work it can handle from word of mouth alone.
Will anything go on my website without me seeing it?
No. Every new page arrives as a draft with a preview. You read it, change anything you want, and only your approval puts it live. Each draft is also checked against the facts about your business first, so a made-up claim is flagged rather than published.
Do I need to be good with computers to use it?
No. It is a private page on your own website with a few plain buttons: read the draft, change it, approve it. If you can read an email on your phone, you can use it.
Can I have it on a website somebody else built?
It is an add-on to a website I build or look after, because it needs to live inside the website itself. If your current site was built elsewhere, the free consultation is where you find out whether moving it over is worth it.
