The result

How it changed the business

George Herkes & Son have been joiners in Tranent since 1989, and Trusted Traders since 2017. Their old site was full of stock photos and was hard to find on Google. I built them a new one, live since October 2026, that shows only their own finished work, has a page for every town they want work in, writes itself a new article every week and tells George which visitors picked up the phone. They are a paying client, and the site is here with their agreement.

What this means for your business

A tradesperson is on a job all day, not writing web pages. A site that adds a page for a new town every week, checks its own facts and shows which visits turned into calls keeps bringing in work while the owner gets on with theirs.

What the owner gets

  • A page for every town
  • A new article every week
  • Found by Google and AI search
  • Calls counted
  • Only their own photos

The build

What it does for the owner

  1. A page for each of the eight towns they want work in, from Musselburgh to Dunbar, and one for each service, each with local answers and common questions
  2. A new article every Tuesday on the service and town with the least written about it so far, checked for invented prices, figures or claims before it goes live
  3. An owner panel where George can ask for a new page or a change in plain words, see it in the real page before it goes live, and sign in with Face ID or a fingerprint
  4. Every page labelled so Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot understand who the business is, where it works and what it does, and search engines told the moment a page changes
  5. Every address from the old site sent to the right new page, over a hundred of them, so links people had saved and pages Google already knew kept working
  6. A visitor count of his own, with no Google Analytics: visits, calls and emails, and whether people came from Google, Facebook or an AI assistant
  7. Every stock photo replaced with George's own finished jobs, and a proper picture card whenever a page is shared on Facebook or WhatsApp
