How it changed the business

vibrator.toys is my own online shop, run by BH Commerce, a separate company of mine, and selling adult toys to customers across the UK. I built it in October 2026 to show how much of a small shop can run without anyone touching it: once an order is paid, the delivery label is bought and the stock count goes down on their own, while new articles bring in visitors from Google. A shop like this has to be discreet as well as easy to buy from, so nothing on the parcel or the bank statement names the shop. It is here because it is live, and because the same parts work for any shop.

What this means for your business

Most of the work in a small online shop happens after the customer pays: buying the label, passing the order on and keeping the stock right. When the shop does those jobs on its own, and tests its own offers, the owner spends their time on what to sell rather than on admin.

What it does for the owner

  1. A checkout that takes card, Apple Pay and Google Pay without leaving the shop, with three Royal Mail delivery choices up to guaranteed next day
  2. Discreet from start to finish: the parcel, the delivery label and the bank statement show the company name, never the shop or what is inside
  3. Paid orders handled on their own: items kept in stock get a Royal Mail label bought straight away, and items the supplier sends are passed to them by email
  4. Live stock counts, so the checkout never sells more than is on the shelf, and every price worked out from what the item cost, so one change to the margin updates the whole shop
  5. A small "you might also like" box at checkout, with different versions tested against each other and an owner page showing which one sells best
  6. A short quiz that suggests the right product, gift sets, welcome codes for newsletter sign-ups and a blog that writes itself, with every page labelled so Google and AI assistants understand it
